Looking for a Place to Fly in Kanzaki Valley

I drove out to Kanzaki Valley to find a place to fly.

I didn’t have a specific location.

Just a direction.

The road became quieter

The further I drove,

the less there was around.

Fewer houses.

Less traffic.

At some point, I slowed down.

I came across something unexpected

A statue.

Standing there.

I didn’t know what it was.

It was the Miyama Peace Kannon

I only realized that later.

At that moment, it was just there.

Quiet.

Surrounded by cherry blossom trees.

I took a moment to fly my drone.

No people around.

Perfect to explore the area peacefully.

Then I continued

Further down, I reached the Kanzaki River.

I found the waterfall

But it was not what I expected.

Small.

Dark.

Hidden.

There was no space to fly.

So I moved on again

I followed the river.

Then I found something else

An old car.

Left in the forest.

Covered in moss.

Surrounded by cedar trees.

It didn’t belong there

It looked like it had been there for a long time.
