What happened to simply having fun like a kid?

That is something I have been thinking about lately.

Making videos used to be about exploring and learning.

Writing daily blog posts felt the same.

But after years of daily blogging and more than a year of making YouTube videos, something slowly changes.

Routine and repetition can start dulling creativity.

Even the pace of learning and improvement begins to slow down.

Many people quit at that point.

They feel they have already seen and done it all.

But strangely, that is not what I want.

What I want is more of the same, but with more depth.

Like a kid replaying the same game over and over again without getting tired of it.

Why?

Because the child in me has slowly rediscovered something simple.

The joy of playing around.

Experimenting.

Exploring.

And simply having fun again.
