This is ironic.
I have created and published 135 videos on my YouTube drone channel.
Yet the videos that brought the most comments and subscribers were not the heavily edited ones.
Nor the ones I expected to perform well.
I was wrong about that almost every time.
And honestly, I still cannot predict which videos people will connect with.
The videos that attracted the most engagement were often the simplest ones.
The ones that took the least effort to make.
Just documenting.
Just talking about what I experienced.
The problems I was facing.
The mistakes I made.
And how I tried to improve.
No dramatic story arc.
No fast cuts for retention.
No constant stimulation.
Just slow and immersive documentation of my FPV learning journey.
At first, that surprised me.
But it also made me happy.
Because those were the videos I enjoyed making the most.
Simply showing the learning process.
Simply sharing the struggles I went through while learning FPV.
I never needed to perform in front of the camera.
I never needed fancy edits.
The people who commented and subscribed were often fellow drone enthusiasts who simply appreciated the raw and mostly uncut experience.
That genuinely surprised me.
And it encourages me to keep going.
