For many years, my life moved in a predictable rhythm.
Wake up.
Go to work.
Pay the bills.
Eat, sleep, and repeat.
At first, it felt normal.
It was simply how life worked.
I did not question it.
But over time, something began to feel different.
Nothing new happened.
The days passed, but I did not feel that I was growing or moving toward anything.
It felt like I was moving, but not going anywhere.
That feeling stayed with me.
At some point, a simple question appeared.
Is this all there is?
I did not answer it immediately.
I carried it with me for a while.
But slowly, I began to notice something.
Life always moves in cycles.
But not all cycles are the same.
Some cycles keep us in repetition without change.
Others quietly build something over time.
I had already started to experience this without fully realizing it.
Saving money each month slowly turned into investments.
Practicing regularly made things easier over time.
Writing began to bring more clarity.
These were also cycles.
But they felt different.
They were leading somewhere.
That was the difference.
It is not repetition itself that keeps us stuck.
It is what the repetition is building.
Once I saw this, I began paying closer attention to the cycles in my life.
Some I left behind.
Others I continued more intentionally.
Because over time, the cycles we repeat quietly become the life we live.
