Thoughtful writing and the art of paying attention.

When Consistency Becomes Identity

I have been following a fellow drone hobbyist and YouTuber.

His name is Hiro.

I think he reads my blog from time to time as well.

What caught my attention is not his drone footage.

It is his consistency.

Hiro shows up for his daily drone flights.

Day after day.

Year after year.

His routine hardly seems to change.

And somehow, he makes it look effortless.

Like going for a daily walk.

Watching him, I sometimes recognize something familiar.

Not because we fly the same drones.

Or create the same videos.

But because I see a similar rhythm.

I show up to write my blog every day.

Regardless of what is happening around me.

Not because I always feel inspired.

But because it has become part of who I am.

Perhaps it is the same for Hiro.

Perhaps daily flying has simply become part of his life.

Not a goal.

Not a challenge.

Just something he does.

If Hiro happens to read this post today, I would genuinely be curious to know.

What keeps you going?

What first started it?

And what makes you still show up after all these years?

I would love to hear the story behind it.
