I am thrilled to announce that my mom will definitely be visiting me in Japan next October. We originally planned for her visit during sakura week this year, but it didn’t align with our schedule and priorities. Thankfully, we have now managed to arrange her visit.
As I continue to relish the enchanting and culturally rich surroundings of Japan, I eagerly anticipate the role of her host and travel guide in central Japan.
This will mark her first visit to Japan, and I look forward to witnessing her reaction to the unique way of life here. My own perception of Japan evolved significantly after spending an extended period here, emphasizing that a mere two-week visit cannot fully capture the essence of this country.
On another positive note, I found a very affordable flight ticket for her at just 600 Euros, with a layover in Shanghai (AMS-NGO, NGO-AMS), thanks to Google Flights. Normally, flight ticket prices range from 800-1200 Euros (economy class). This is different from my experiences with Skyscanner, which I now avoid due to inconsistency. I’m intrigued by the volatility and unpredictability of flight ticket prices, which prompted my research. For more insights, you can check out my previous blog post here.
