December is coming and I feel ready to slow down a little. Not to stop. Just to rest and breathe before the next season begins. After writing every day and filming weekly vlogs for months, I can sense that a short pause might give me the clarity and new energy I need.
I will travel to the Netherlands to visit my family and take care of my assets and business. The Netherlands is not my home anymore, but it is a place where earlier chapters of my life were written. And Switzerland, where I grew up, will always hold another part of that feeling. Being in those familiar environments reminds me of where I come from and shows me how much I have changed since moving to Japan. That contrast often gives me a clearer view of where I am now and where I want to go next.
Lately I have been thinking about nature and how plants and trees rest in winter. They do not grow on the surface, but deep inside they gather energy for spring. Dormancy is not weakness. It is a normal part of the life cycle and evolution. Maybe the creative process works in the same way. Maybe a pause is simply the quiet space where new ideas take shape long before they are ready to bloom.
To keep the creative flow alive, I will give myself the permission to post less in December. I will create only when my other priorities allow it. No pressure. No force. Just a gentle rhythm that keeps me connected without losing myself in the process. I trust that this rest will feed the next chapter.
Sometimes the most important growth happens in the quiet season.
