Hiking to the Hidden Trail of Mount Takasu

Today I ventured out to Mount Takasu, looking for a trail I didnโ€™t even know existed.

I had this idea that I could hike up to the summit because Mount Takasu sits right next to Mount Kinkaโ€”the one with Gifu Castle on top.

You might wonder, why bother climbing Mount Takasu if I could just hike up Mount Kinka to see Gifu Castle?

Well, Iโ€™ve already been up to Gifu Castle many timesโ€”walked around it, explored inside, admired the view. Itโ€™s no longer new to me. But discovering a hidden trail up Mount Takasu felt like a real adventureโ€”an opportunity to explore something unfamiliar and to fly my drone close to Gifu Castle from a completely different angle.

Of course, I filmed a vlog about it. Thatโ€™s also why Iโ€™m posting my daily blog a bit late today.

The photo in this post was taken with my drone, and I have to sayโ€”it turned out both dramatic and angelic at the same time.

Hope you like it.
