Over the last few days, my wife and I had the joy of hosting our friends from Osaka. Instead of taking them on the usual tourist trail, we gave them something more special—a private tour of our favorite places here in Gifu Prefecture.
Since we’ve explored these spots in different seasons, we knew exactly where to go. It felt good to share places that aren’t always on the map but leave a lasting impression.
One of the highlights was Amida Falls and the peaceful area around it.
Every time I visit, I bring my drones along. Of course, walking the forest trails, listening to the rivers, and standing near the waterfalls is already magical—but flying my FPV drones adds another layer of wonder. Each flight teaches me something new, and slowly I’ve become better at capturing these landscapes from unique angles, whether just above the ground or sweeping over the treetops.
