Nagoya Christmas Market

Just returned from the Nagoya Christmas Market, and I must say, it was an interesting experience! While it didn’t quite meet my expectations compared to the charming markets in Europe, the festive spirit was undeniable. The atmosphere was lively, filled with locals who truly embraced the holiday cheer. It was packed, with visitors eagerly lining up for delightful Germanic treats.

I enjoyed some delicious sausages with cheese and a warm cup of Glรผhwein, which certainly added to the festive vibe. However, I wouldn’t bring any Europeans there, as it lacks some of the quintessential elements of a traditional Christmas market. That being said, it’s essential to recognize that this market has its own charm, and from a Japanese or non-European perspective, it likely holds a special place.
