One of the things that helped me stop doomscrolling wasnβt just cutting down on social media β it was creating.
Some time ago, I realized that instead of searching endlessly for something that inspires me, I could simply make it myself. This blog is one of those creations. Every time I write about something that fascinates me, I dive deeper into it β researching, learning, reflecting β and in the process, I discover more than I expected. Writing becomes both the journey and the reward.
The same goes for my YouTube adventures. Instead of watching drone videos or hiking channels, I started making my own. Each time I film, edit, and watch my work, I see where I can improve. I learn to see things differently β not through the lens of a viewer, but through the eyes of a creator.
Funny enough, the more I create, the less I consume. Itβs as if by producing something myself, I fill the exact gap I was once searching for online.
And then comes the connection. I never imagined how fulfilling it would be to interact with other drone enthusiasts and videographers β to exchange ideas, challenges, and small wins and losses. Itβs not about competing; itβs about growing together. That community has become a source of motivation, reminding me that creation brings people together in ways that scrolling never could.
So if you canβt find what youβre looking for, maybe thatβs life whispering something simple but powerful β create it yourself. Because what you wish existed might be exactly what someone else has been searching for, too.
