Be A Creative Thief

For most of my life I was never a creative person

Meaning, I always thought that being creative means

coming up with ideas with nothing but my blank mind

In hindsight that was a stupid and limiting believe of mine

But writing daily blog posts, together with creating videos

has made me realize that stealing ideas is the best

way of getting creative work done

So when I write blog posts or a shoot a video, I simply

get ideas from other writers and video makers

But I wonder why nobody is ever talking about this

Do we content creators pretend that all our work is based on a new ideas?

I don’t think so

Most ideas are stolen from other artists and content creators

But we content creators don’t want to openly admit it

Why?

Because it makes us feel like thieves, frauds or impostors

Ideas are free

There is nothing to steal really

Nothing is polished for performance. The aim is steady progress, honest reflection, and practical insight you can actually use.

If youโ€™re curious about life in Japan, learning new skills at your own pace, or finding a calmer, more intentional way forward, youโ€™re in the right place.
