If youโve been browsing my blog recently, you mightโve noticed a few changesโespecially when it comes to my YouTube channels and how theyโre presented.
At the very top of the button section, Iโve added a Buy Me A Coffee button. This oneโs simple: if youโve enjoyed my videos, blog posts, or any of the content Iโve been sharing, feel free to send a virtual coffee my way. Whether itโs to show appreciation, encourage me to keep going, or just because you feel like itโit means a lot.
Right below that, thereโs a button leading you to Life in Rural Japan Karl & Hiromi. This is our shared YouTube channel, where we post about our daily life out here in the Japanese countryside. We share seasonal vibes, local culture, traditional food, and just our quiet little world surrounded by nature. Itโs all the small things that make living here feel special.
Next up is Karl FPV Drone Adventures, the channel I recently rebranded to focus entirely on my FPV drone journey. Youโll find flights, mistakes, crashes, lessons, and the gradual process of learning to fly and film better with each session. You can find the Karl FPV button just below the Life in Rural Japan oneโor if youโre on a phone, itโs all further down toward the bottom of the post.
And finally, thereโs Easy Origami for Everybodyโmy first channel ever. We donโt upload new videos to it anymore, but itโs still online for anyone who wants to try out beginner-friendly paper folding. It started out as a fun experiment, creating easy origami videos that anyone could follow. Eventually, we ran out of simple ideas. Sure, thereโs an endless amount of advanced origami out there, but that wasnโt really the point of this channel. We kept it basic and accessible.
Looking back at all this contentโsome of it feels kind of cringe, to be honest. But itโs also meaningful. I can see how much Iโve grown. I still feel like my talking-to-camera skills and editing style arenโt quite where I want them to be yet. But I believe in the kaizen approach: get 1% better with every video, and over time, the results will compound.
Thanks for being here and following along. Your supportโwhether itโs a view, a comment, or a coffeeโreally does make a difference.
