Embracing Nature: My Journey in Forest Surfing

Recently, I found a new practice spot and I am excited to visit it for the third time today. The cherry blossom trees in the area are shedding their delicate white petals, and Iโ€™ve started to feel more at home here as I explore the surroundings.

This practice location is a non-residential area nestled among towering mountains that exceed the maximum allowed flight altitude. While my first practice spot is just a 10-minute bike ride from my home, this newly discovered spot is a 20-minute drive from my doorstep.

However, this new location feels like a godsend. I can now practice mountain and forest surfing without having to travel for hours into the heart of Gifu Prefecture, north of Gifu City.

I never imagined I would be so immersed in this niche hobby that allows me to experience nature from new perspectives. It has truly enriched my appreciation for the environment around me.
