Discover Oeschinensee: A Budget-Friendly Swiss Travel Gem

Just like I announced, hereโ€™s my latest video for this weekโ€™s video catch-up, as promised back in September!

Hiromi and I had an amazing time visiting Jungfraujoch, riding the train up to the โ€œTop of Europe,โ€ and soaking in the breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier. However, after experiencing both Jungfraujoch and Oeschinensee, if I had to choose just one destination, I would hands down pick Oeschinensee!

Hereโ€™s why: A round-trip ticket to Jungfraujoch from Lauterbrunnen costs 106.80 CHF, while a round-trip ticket to Oeschinensee is only 25.60 CHF! Not only is Oeschinensee significantly more budget-friendly, but it also offers stunning views with far fewer tourists. At Jungfraujoch, we found the area overwhelmed with visitors, which made it challenging to enjoy the scenery in peace and quiet.

As youโ€™ll see in the video, our hiking adventures at Oeschinensee allowed us to enjoy breathtaking vistas without the crowds. I hope you enjoy the video as much as we enjoyed our time at Oeschinensee!

Let me know if this inspires you to visit Oeschinensee yourself if you haven’t already!
