Fall Colors in Takayama: Captivating Maple Views

While Hiromi was working with her clients this morning, I ventured out into Takayama town by myself. The best part about heading out early is the peace and quiet, allowing you to visit many places without the crowds.

This was my third visit to Takayama, and while I havenโ€™t seen all the attractions yet, this trip was particularly special. I finally had the chance to experience the stunning yellow and red fall foliage I’ve been eager to see in Japan.

Guess what? I was able to capture and bask in some beautiful red foliage from the maple trees. I had a hunch that Shiroyama Park would be a great spot for vibrant red maple leavesโ€”and I was right!

As I sit on the train back to Gifu, I notice that the stunning red maple trees are less prevalent after Gero. The temperatures haven’t dropped enough here yet to turn the leaves red. Iโ€™m excited to visit Oyada Temple in Maple Valley soon to capture more of this breathtaking autumn scenery. Itโ€™s quite addictive, I must say!
