Iseltwald: The Romantic Spot from Crash Landing On You

Yesterday, on our way back from Jungfraujoch, we decided to take a detour to Iseltwald, a delightful little town nestled by the shores of Lake Brienz that I had only recently discovered.

My cousin had mentioned Iseltwald’s connection to the romantic series Crash Landing On You. At first, I was oblivious to what that meant, but my curiosity quickly drew us to this scenic spot.

To our surprise, we stumbled upon the iconic pier where a memorable scene from the series was filmed. Admittedly, I have never watched Crash Landing On You, nor do I have plans to, but I was intrigued to see what all the excitement was about.

The pier itself may not be particularly remarkable, yet it is framed by a breathtaking backdrop. I must confess, it looked incredibly enchanting, even with throngs of fans capturing their perfect photos.

Hiromi and I experienced a vibe reminiscent of Shirakawa-go in Japan. It’s challenging to articulate, but perhaps the pictures will capture the magic better than words ever could.
