Authentic Moments: A Wabi Sabi Videography Style?

Losing track of time while immersed in the world of video editing has become a familiar sensation. I recently committed myself to producing weekly content for my YouTube channel, and I am gradually establishing a seamless workflow.

With each outing, capturing footage has become increasingly effortless. Admittedly, speaking directly to the camera still feels a bit awkward at times, but with practice, it’s becoming more natural. I’ve even embraced the imperfections, opting to leave some of my verbal mistakes in the final cut to maintain authenticity.

Embracing a wabi-sabi style of videography has been liberating. It’s a celebration of imperfection and impermanence that adds a unique charm to my content.

Recording audio in public remains a challenge, but modern video editing programs have empowered me to isolate voices and eliminate unwanted background noise.

Recently, I documented our memorable day trip to Gujo Hachiman to celebrate my wife’s birthday at the charming Restaurant Suzume No Iori. After reviewing the footage, I’m excited to share this heartfelt experience in my upcoming weekly video.

Stay tuned as I bring this story to life!
