Indoor Work and Chappie’s Antics: Battling the Dog Days in Japan

It’s official โ€“ my least favorite seasons in Japan are rainy season, summer, and typhoon season. Surprisingly, they keep me from enjoying outdoor activities like gardening, hiking, and fishing due to the high temperatures, humidity, and heavy rainfall. Even working inside at my desk has become challenging as the weather seems to drain my productivity and creativity.

I often find myself confined to my home office, seeking refuge from the oppressive heat and humidity. Even Chappie, my furry companion, prefers the cool indoors over the garden after a brief outdoor excursion. I chuckle as he skillfully opens the sliding door and makes himself comfortable inside, seeking relief from the heat. It’s a hilarious sight, and I can empathize with his need to cool down.
