Firefly Chasing Adventure in Gujo: A Natural Spectacle

Just returned from our firefly-chasing trip in Gujo, about an hour’s ride away from our doorstep. It was definitely worth the visit! My wife and I were amazed to see thousands of fireflies in a remote area that surprisingly attracted many other firefly enthusiasts.

While we enjoyed admiring the beautiful sight of fireflies dancing in the forest and hovering above the Ontani River, I attempted to capture them with my newly purchased camera, which boasts commendable low-light capabilities. I even brought a tripod to capture the fireflies in a stationary position. Unfortunately, despite experimenting with various camera settings for about 2 hours, I couldn’t get the perfect shot.

Nevertheless, I still want to share some footage with you so you can have a glimpse of the spectacular sight we witnessed.
