Today, after a night’s heavy rain and swirling winds, I went out to capture the fleeting beauty of the cherry blossoms near my home.

Despite the bad weather, I was happy to see the trees still covered in pretty pink flowers. Initially, I only wanted to take some photos on this sunny day. But seeing the trees and flowers moving in the windy weather, I decided to film the moments with my Panasonic GH4.

In hindsight, I wished I had brought my camera stabilizer. But as I focused on filming the beautiful cherry blossom trees and flowers, any regrets faded away.

Lacking a pre-planned narrative, I found myself crafting one during the editing process. Inspired by the atmosphere, I chose to infuse the footage with a nostalgic touch, evoking memories of springs past.

Without further ado, here’s the video. May it evoke a sense of nostalgia within you as it did within me.
