It’s ironic, but ever since I began my gardening journey last year, I’ve delved deep into studying our garden’s plants, trees, and soil. Immersing myself in gardening has led me to observe the world around me in a whole new way. Whether I’m running errands or taking a stroll in any area of Gifu, my attention is inevitably drawn to the gardens, trees, plants, and flowers that surround me. I find myself pondering how these plants have thrived or why the trees have been pruned in specific ways.

Someone who always looks at plants and trees wherever they walk could be described as a “botanophile” or a “tree enthusiast.” They might also be referred to as someone who is “botanically inclined” or “nature-focused.”

It might sound silly, but that’s how deeply gardening has transformed me into a botanophile. ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒบ
