I came across this book, which seemed perfect for my further studies in Japanese gardening.

Unfortunately, it’s temporarily unavailable on Amazon.co.jp.

However, I found a seller, Niwaki, in the UK that has the book for sale.

The delivery fee from the UK to Japan turned out to be over 10GBP more expensive than the book itself.

In other words, I decided to cancel the order and will wait until it’s available again on Amazon.co.jp or find it elsewhere nearby.

It’s a bummer because I’m really eager to read that book.

If you happen to know where I might be able to get it or order it without a ridiculously high delivery charge, I’m all ears or eyes…

The stories and guides here come from real processes โ€” creative experiments, hands-on projects, life in rural Japan, working with nature, and learning new skills step by step. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is polished for performance. The aim is steady progress, honest reflection, and practical insight you can actually use.

If youโ€™re curious about life in Japan, learning new skills at your own pace, or finding a calmer, more intentional way forward, youโ€™re in the right place.
