My wife and I just came back from the grocery store, and we came across these yuzus today.
She told me it is a tradition to use a yuzu in the bath on Yuzu Day.

Honestly, I had no clue about Yuzu Day, so I looked up some information on the internet.

It appears that December 22, is Yuzu Day in Japan, celebrated during the winter solstice known as Tลji.ย

In Japan, it marks the official beginning of winter and symbolizes the return of the sun with longer days ahead.

I know of no such traditions in Switzerland or the Netherlands. Then again, there are no yuzus available in Europe like in Japan.

Be it as it may, I am adopting this tradition by enjoying a hot bath with my yuzu later on, celebrating brighter and sunnier days to come ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ›๐ŸŒž
