Indulging in the dangerously cozy allure of our kotatsu, even in our well-insulated home.

As the night temperatures plummet to near zero outside, the tatami room echoes the chill at 17 degrees Celsius, unless the trusty aircon heater kicks in.

Yet, the kotatsu reigns supreme in warmth and comfort.

As I pen down these words, my legs revel in the soothing warmth it provides.

Beware, though, for the allure of this snug haven makes it a challenge to leave.

Attempting to rise from its comforting embrace is akin to a slow, reluctant crawl, resembling a determined worm.

The longer I sit, the further I nestle underneath, almost up to my belly if I could manage.

On a positive note, the aircon heater remains dormant; its necessity diminishes in the captivating cocoon of the kotatsu.
