Today, my wife and I ventured into the world of Lopia for our grocery shopping, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer!

Admittedly, as I looked at the store from the outside, I had no idea what awaited us within. To our surprise, it was like stepping into a food and beverage wonderlandโ€”think Costco, but exclusively catering to culinary delights.

The bustling atmosphere inside Lopia spoke volumes, and it was evident that locals knew they were getting the best bang for their Yen. Our second visit today had us queueing again through the shop, along with other eager customers, all eyes on the fantastic array of food, particularly the well prepared food boxes.

The boxed foods are a little smaller in size than at Costco’s, yet at really affordable prices.

Having shopped at various grocery stores, we can confidently say that Lopia takes the crown when it comes to providing affordable yet fantastic food boxes. The quality of meats and fish surpassed our expectations, making our culinary journey truly delightful.

Mind you that I am not talking about Japanese bento, which are normally meant as a complete lunch or dinner for one person. The boxed foods offered in Lopia are meant for two to three persons.

If you ever find yourself in Japan, make it a point to visit Lopia. Trust me, it’s well worth a visit!
