Recently, I took a quick dive into the world of Reddit to explore what people are sharing and discussing about Japan. As expected, there’s a plethora of content aimed at sparking reactions and discussions.

Interestingly, I find myself doing something similar on my Blogger page. The twist? Almost exclusively my inner circle reads it, and it’s not always about Japan.

What sets my blog apart from typical Reddit posts is the focus on introspective thoughts. This is my unique approach to discussing anything related to Japan.

On YouTube, there’s an abundance of videos featuring foreigners living in Japan, sharing their experiences with common cultural differences. Comments often touch on the politeness of the Japanese or the cleanliness of public transportationโ€”superficial yet valid observations.

No offense to these commenters, but these are external observations. This is why I’m proud to craft content that delves deeper than the obvious facets of Japan. My blog goes beyond the usual suspects like Instagrammable landmarks, Japanese food, and anime. Instead, it delves into how my experiences in Japan shape and transform me as an individual.

This is what I mean by introspective.

Does that resonate with you?

I hope so. As I commit to daily blogging, my aim is to share content that surpasses the scope of a typical Reddit post. If you’re keen on exploring Japan on a more personal level, feel free to check out my blog and join me on this introspective journey.
