an idea that took me a long time to realize.
Sometimes, I still find myself falling into the old pattern of “Have, Do, Be.”
Have you ever heard of “Be, Do, Have”?
The significance of “Be, Do, Have” lies in the idea that many people often focus on the “Have” aspect first, believing that acquiring possessions or achieving external success will lead to happiness and a sense of being.
However, this concept suggests that by first defining who you want to be and then taking aligned actions, you are more likely to attain the desired results (the “Have” component) and experience a more fulfilling and authentic sense of being.
The same applies when setting personal goals.
Instead of fixating on what we want to own or achieve, such as owning a piece of land in Thailand and building our dream home on it, “Have, Do, Be” can lead to a mindset where we think, “I need this first in order to get that.”
But with “Be, Do, Have,” we turn our focus inward first and make the necessary changes within ourselves to become the person who has already achieved those goals subconsciously.
It’s not an easy mindset to adopt if you’ve been accustomed to “Have, Do, Be” for most of your life.
Something worth pondering, don’t you think?
