Today was a first for me – I experienced writer’s block. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

If you’ve been following me on Instagram and here on my Blogger, then you know I have the discipline to share a new short story every day.

But writer’s block doesn’t spare anyone.

As I reflected on it, I identified some common causes of writer’s block: perfectionism, fear of failure, external distractions, and burnout.

But for me, it’s been a lack of inspiration lately.

While in Japan, I was overflowing with new ideas to share, but somehow, here in the Netherlands, that inspiration seems to be fading.

Maybe it’s time to rediscover my muse, or perhaps I’m not entirely honest with myself about this writer’s block. ๐Ÿค”

Be it as it may, I think it’s perfectly normal to have no inspiration to write a short story so now and then.
