I promised to post about Magome, so here we are.
Many tourists come to Japan to visit the big cities Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.
And I think for anybody who has never been to Japan before, these Japanese cities are a must visit of course.
I remember when I visited Tokyo for the first time, the sheer size of Tokyo was overwhelming for me.
Also the 14 million people rushing around in Tokyo was stressing me out back then.
So it’s not surprising that I appreciate the more quiet and peaceful destinations like Magome.

I loved walking the Nakasendo trail from Magome to Tsumago and even though I could show you many more pictures…

nothing beats a real trip to Magome and walking the Nakasendo trail yourself.
Besides the Nakasendo trail is an ancient samurai trail, crossing from Gifu Prefecture over to Nagano Prefecture….I mean how cool is that, right?

And me being in the Netherlands right now, makes me realise how much I appreciate that trip to Magome.

Fortunately, I will go back home in a few weeks already and hopefully I can still enjoy a beautiful autumn in Japan.

Feel free to comment and ask questions.
I would love to hear from you what you think about Magome, Tsumago and the Nakasendo trail.
