Cat cafés are common all over Japan as far as I know…
My wife and I just returned from one of our nearby shopping malls before closing time.
While she was looking for the latest autumn fashion, I was strolling around window shopping and I suddenly bumped into this cat café.
You have probably seen them before if you visited Tokyo for example.
But cat cafés are very common all over Japan and I think having them located in shopping malls is a great idea.
During busier hours the mall is packed with parents and kids.
So the kids need entertainment while mommy and daddy do groceries and shopping.
The cat café on the picture is empty right now because we went to the mall after dinner.
However I can assure you that during day time this cat café is crowded with cat lovers, they even line up patiently to get in.
By the way, for the Dutch native speakers among us, the cat café’s name is random and has nothing to do with WWII.
